December 10, 2025 Town Board Meeting
County Legislator Reed Cleland gave an update during Privilege of the Floor. Reed will be holding a district meeting Monday, December 15, at 6:30pm at Center for the Arts.
Frank Davi demonstrated the new town website - Link . The website looks good, and the clerks can edit it. The documents for this meeting were posted on the website in advance. Well done!
Kyle Bean (Highway Superintendent), Branden Brown (Councilperson), and Kevin Williams (Councilperson) sworn in.
Instead of purchasing one or two new trailers, the existing trailers will be restored. The cost will be around $10,000 for the larger, not sure about the smaller. Estimates for a new large trailer were between $22k-$42k.
Town Historian Martin Sweeney gave his annual report, and has been very busy!
There will be a public hearing before the January meeting about a local law to enforce parking regulations at Town Hall.
There have been a few change orders for the Town Hall lower level renovations, due to conditions encountered during construction. The costs fall within the approved contingency, and Supervisor Park feels that the project will not go over budget. The project is running a bit behind schedule.
The Personnel Policy has been updated to reflect the discontinuance of health insurance benefits for part time town employees.
